In the absence of a centralized federal database listing instances of misconduct, the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) is providing such data. We believe that it will lead to improved contracting decisions and public access to information about how the government spends hundreds of billions of taxpayer money each year on goods and services. Synopsis: Agility (formerly known as Public Warehousing Company KSC) and two subsidiaries have been charged with conspiracy, fraud, making false statements and submitting false claims relating to contracts to supply food to U.S. troops in Iraq, Kuwait and Jordan. The government alleges Agility overcharged the Department of Defense by inflating food prices and submitting false information on food supply contracts that were awarded between 2003 and 2005.
