Synopsis: The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) assessed $86,250 in fines and costs on Valero Energy subsidiary The Premcor Refining Group, Inc. for violating state air pollution regulations at its Delaware City refinery. DNREC alleged hydrocarbon flaring violations occurred between October 2006 and December 2007 and in January and August 2008.
