Synopsis: The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) fined Valero Energy Corp. $107,500 for workplace safety and health violations at its Delaware City oil refinery. OSHA cited Valero for four repeat violations and nine serious violations, including failure to conduct and document inspections and tests on the refinery’s equipment and failure to properly conduct a hazard analysis and maintain safety information for employees.
