About POGO's Federal Contractor Misconduct Database (FCMD)
The government awards contracts to companies with histories of misconduct such as contract fraud and environmental, ethics, and labor violations. In the absence of a centralized federal database listing instances of misconduct, the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) is providing such data. We believe that it will lead to improved contracting decisions and public access to information about how the government spends hundreds of billions of taxpayer money each year on goods and services. Enforcement Agency: Non-Governmental

Synopsis: Molly Finn, a partner and 24-year veteran of Booz Allen Hamilton, filed a lawsuit claiming she was fired because of her sex and/or family responsibilities and that the company intentionally excludes women from the highest-level leadership positions. The lawsuit, which names four senior male executives as defendants, alleges that Booz Allen’s corporate leadership maintains a “glass ceiling” that excludes women from “the top echelon of the Firm where Booz Allen’s most important strategic and operational decisions are made.” The lawsuit further alleges that male partners are paid more than comparable female partners and are afforded better advancement opportunities.
