The government awards contracts to companies with histories of misconduct such as contract fraud and environmental, ethics, and labor violations. In the absence of a centralized federal database listing instances of misconduct, the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) is providing such data. We believe that it will lead to improved contracting decisions and public access to information about how the government spends hundreds of billions of taxpayer money each year on goods and services. Synopsis: David Norman and Walter Romas, Dell customer service employees in Roseburg, Oregon, filed a class-action lawsuit against Dell claiming the company violated federal and state wage and hour laws by failing to record accurately all time worked and failing to pay earned wages and overtime. The lawsuit covers all current and former Dell call center employees in Oregon, Texas, Idaho, Tennessee and Oklahoma from February 8, 2004, to the present, a class that could include as many as 5,000 people. In November 2009, the case was settled out of court. Terms of the agreement were not made public.
