Over the years, P&J has won substantial contracts from the federal government, playing a key role in the cleanup and rebuilding work in the aftermath of Hurricanes Andrew and Katrina and the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. P&J was one of four prime contractors selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to clean up the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina along the Gulf Coast, a contract that could be worth more than $500 million.
