Whistleblower Retaliation at LLNL (Doggett)
Michelle Doggett, a former manager at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, settled a whistleblower retaliation lawsuit with the University of California. Doggett claimed she was mistreated for telling supervisors and investigators of improper charges being made to energy research accounts in the 1990s. As part of the settlement, Doggett was paid approximately $33,000 in wages, $264,000 for medical and physical sickness expenses, and unspecified damages in the amount of $264,000.
