Violations of California Pesticide Registration Requirements

“On October 18, 2004, the California Department of Pesticide Registration informed us that it would be seeking $202,959 in penalties for violations by our Betz Water business of the State of California’s pesticide registration requirements. The California Department of Pesticide Registration has since reduced its penalty demand to $160,000." The matter was ultimately settled in 2005 for $120,916.
