Pearson v. Chugach (Sex/Disability Discrimination)
Bobbie Jo Pearson was employed by Chugach Government Services, Inc., and later by Chugach Support Services, Inc. (both are subsidiaries of Chugach Alaska Corp.), as an administrative assistant at their office on Dover Air Force Base from 2004 to 2008. Pearson claimed that she was unjustly fired based on her sex and disability and that she was subject to a hostile work environment and retaliatory harassment in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title I of the American with Disabilities Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act.
