Improperly Charging for Spare Parts

Hawker Beechcraft paid $286,000 to settle allegations that it improperly charged the U.S. government for spare parts associated with the Joint Primary Aircraft Training Program (JPATS) and agreed to reimburse the government for the cost of weight-on-wheels boxes. The allegations concerned the JPATS trainer T-6A Texan II, a single-engine turboprop.
