Destin v. BP et al. (April 2010 Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill)

Florida resident Dewey Destin filed a class-action lawsuit in Florida over the April 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion and oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The lawsuit alleges claims of gross negligence against several companies, including BP, on behalf of residents who own or lease real property or businesses within certain areas in Okaloosa and Walton counties in Florida.
