Carideo v. Dell (Defective Laptop Computers)
Washington residents who bought Dell Inspiron laptop computers filed a class- action lawsuit alleging that Dell violated state consumer protection law by designing, manufacturing, and selling defective laptop computers beginning in or around July 2003. The alleged defects affect the computers’ cooling systems, power supplies, batteries and motherboards. The parties reached a preliminary settlement in June 2010.
