Anderson v. Exxon Mobil (Asbestos Exposure)
A state court jury awarded $7 million award to Bonnie Anderson, who claimed she contracted peritoneal mesothelioma from laundering the asbestos-laden clothing of her husband, who worked at Exxon’s Linden Bayway Refinery in Linden, New Jersey, and from her employment at the refinery. The jury also awarded Anderson’s husband, John, $500,000. The Andersons were also awarded $1.8 million in prejudgment interest.
