Littoral Combat Ship Contract Credit Card Fraud
Former ARINC employees John Shannonhouse and Deborah Gibbons pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States. In 2007 and 2008, Shannonhouse and Gibbons worked in ARINC’s Panama City, Florida office on a United States Naval Surface Warfare Center contract to build modules for the Littoral Combat Ship. The government alleged that Shannonhouse and Gibbons used ARINC corporate credit cards to buy almost $130,000 of personal items, which were charged to the government. In March 2011, Shannonhouse and Gibbons were sentenced to six months in prison, plus three years of probation, and fined more than $120,000.
