St. Charles Refinery Wrongful Death

The family of Rodrigo Rodriguez, a contract worker who was killed in a March 2011 accident at Valero Energy’s St. Charles, Louisiana refinery, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Valero and Rodriguez’s employer, Koch Specialty Plant Services. The lawsuit accuses both companies of gross negligence. Rodriguez died after he was overcome by hydrogen sulfide while performing maintenance on the refinery’s catalytic cracking unit.
