Petrochemical Emissions at Deer Park Facility

Shell Chemical L.P., a unit of Royal Dutch Shell, paid $500,000 to Harris County, Texas, to settle five different air pollution events at its Deer Park refinery between April 2008 and March 2010. The county accused Shell Chemical of failing to notify officials about the toxic releases.
