Smith v. SpaceX (Labor Law Violations)

Former SpaceX employee Joseph Smith seeks class-action status for a lawsuit claiming the company violated California labor laws by denying workers meal and rest breaks and making them work off the clock without compensation. The suit alleges that, since August 2010, the company imposed shift and break schedules that shortened or failed to provide for meal and rest breaks, did not compensate for time lost when hours worked were rounded down to the nearest 15-minute increment, and did not provide employees with some of the tools required to do their work and did not reimburse them for tools purchased by the workers.
