Redd et al. v. Goodrich Corporation et al. (Product Liability)
The family of Steven Redd, a U.S. Army pilot killed in an AH-6M “Little Bird” helicopter crash at Fort Benning, Georgia, in August 2011, filed a lawsuit against the manufacturers of the helicopter, including Boeing and Rolls-Royce. The lawsuit claims the Little Bird helicopter and its components are defective and unreasonably dangerous, and that the defendants were aware of the flaws but failed to warn the Army or the pilots.
