Colorado Natural Gas Pipeline Explosion OSHA Fine
The Occupational and Safety Administration (OSHA) fined BP America Production Company and Halliburton Energy Services $7,000 each for a June 2012 explosion at a natural gas compression station near Durango, Colorado, that killed one worker and injured two others. The workers were doing maintenance work on a pipeline at the time. OSHA cited BP and Halliburton with a serious safety violation.
