Violation of California Greenhouse Gas Reporting Regulations

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) alleged that Exxon’s Torrance refinery failed to timely submit an accurate greenhouse gas emissions data report for 2011. To resolve the matter, Exxon agreed to update its greenhouse gas monitoring plan and pay a $120,000 penalty.
