Rangel v. FedEx Ground Package System (California Labor Violations Class Action)

FedEx Ground Package System agreed to pay $2.1 million to settle allegations that the company failed to provide proper meal and rest breaks and committed other violations of California labor and unfair competition laws. The lawsuit alleged that FedEx failed to provide employees who worked two shifts in a workday a meal period and a second rest period, and that it failed to provide compensation for time spent in security checks.
