Y-12 Complex Security Contract Termination
In July 2012, three anti-nuclear activists broke into the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and defaced the outside of the Highly Enriched Uranium Materials Facility. Two months later, the managing contractor at the facility, Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Y-12 (B&W Y-12), announced it would terminate a security services contract with WSI Oak Ridge (a subsidiary of G4S Government Solutions, which was formerly known as Wackenhut).
