Improperly Collecting Refunds From Providers in Missouri
Pursuant to a settlement with the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration (DIFP), Humana Insurance Company, and Humana Health Plan, LLC agreed to refund more than $600,000 to Missouri health care providers. A state investigation found Humana improperly collected refunds from doctors and other providers.
