Cinadr, et al. v. KBR, et al. (Violations of Federal and State Wage Laws)

A class-action lawsuit accused KBR and BE&K, Inc. (acquired by KBR in 2008) of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act and Iowa wage law at the Archer Daniels Midland corn processing plant in Clinton, Iowa. The lawsuit alleged that, since February 2008, the two companies failed to pay employees for all hours worked, that they worked in excess of 40 hours per week, and that they were not paid overtime. In October 2013, a jury ordered KBR to pay $1.96 million in damages.
