Nigeria LNG Contracts Bribery – African Development Bank Fine

The African Development Bank fined Kellogg Brown & Root LLC $6.5 million for its role in a bribery scheme involving construction contracts for liquefied natural gas production plants on Bonny Island in Nigeria in the 1990s and 2000s. During that time, KBR and other companies allegedly made improper payments totaling $180 million in exchange for contracts.
