Command Technology v. Lockheed Martin (Unfair Competition)
Command Technology alleged that Lockheed Martin engaged in unfair business practices in the F-16 fighter jet program. Command Technology, which develops electronic maintenance manuals for the F-16, alleged that Lockheed unfairly shut them out of the program and tortiously interfered with their economic relationships. Command Technology accused Lockheed of using its proprietary information to build a rival product. In November 2013, a jury awarded Command Technology $24.8 million in damages.
