Pfaff v. Merck (Propecia Wrongful Death)

The family of John Pfaff filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging Merck failed to warn consumers that its prescription hair loss drug Propecia (androgenic alopecia) causes side effects such as depression and suicidal thoughts. The lawsuit claims that Merck has known of these side effects since 1997 but failed to warn users. Pfaff took Propecia from 2008 to 2012. The lawsuit claims the drug drastically altered his behavior, leading to his suicide in 2013.
