Lipitor Products Liability Litigation

Lawsuits filed in several states allege that the cholesterol-lowering drug Lipitor causes users to develop Type 2 diabetes. (Lipitor was created by Warner-Lambert, which Pfizer acquired in 2000. Lipitor is distributed by Pfizer’s Parke-Davis division.) The lawsuits claim that Pfizer failed to provide adequate warnings regarding the link between Lipitor and diabetes.
