Blakeslee v. Shaw Infrastructure (Retaliation, Age Discrimination)
Paul Blakeslee filed a False Claims Act/wrongful discharge lawsuit alleging Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure fired him after he notified the company of fraud occurring on work being performed at military installations in Alaska. In March 2013, a federal jury determined that Blakeslee had suffered both retaliation and age discrimination and awarded him more than $3.4 million in in lost wages, non-economic damages, and punitive damages.
