Risinger v. SOC LLC (Violations of Wage and Hour Laws)
Karl Risinger, who worked for SOC LLC as an armed guard in Iraq in 2010 and 2011, claims that the company misled him and other employees with false promises regarding compensation and work schedules. He claims that guards were forced to work months at a time without days off, in excess of 14 hours per day, in extremely hazardous conditions, and without the pay they had been promised. He also claims that SOC LLC routinely falsified employee time sheets to reflect time off when there was none and to show that employees worked only 12 hours per day when in fact they worked in excess of 12 hours each day.
