Violations of Classified Information Security Program Requirements
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (PNOV) to National Security Technologies (NSTech) for violations of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) classified information security program requirements at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). NNSA determined that the unauthorized disclosure and introduction of classified information into unapproved information systems at NNSS resulted in four Severity Level II violations of DOE classified information security requirements. NNSA proposed a civil penalty of $110,000.
