Woods, et al. v. Boeing (Contaminated Cabin Air)
Plaintiff flight attendants claimed they were exposed to hazardous fumes on a 737-890 Boeing commercial aircraft in July 2013. They claimed that the cabin air in this particular aircraft is “bled” off the airplane’s engines and becomes contaminated with heated jet engine oil and its toxic byproducts. The plaintiffs alleged their exposure caused them to suffer a variety of short-term and long-term health problems. The lawsuit settled in December 2019.
