Pricing Irregularities in Northeastern Corridor Fares
In July 2015, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) notified five airlines—including JetBlue and United—of an investigation into alleged “pricing irregularities” relating to fares charges for routes along the northeastern U.S. corridor, in the aftermath of an Amtrak train derailment in Philadelphia on May 12, 2015.
