Smith v. URS Corp. (Racial Discrimination, Retaliation)

Melvin Smith applied to work for URS Corporation on an Army contract to destroy munitions at a facility in Arkansas. Smith, who is African-American, claims a less-qualified white applicant was hired to fill the same position at a higher pay grade and salary than Smith and another African-American applicant. Smith also claims that he became the target of retaliation after he complained about the discriminatory treatment.
