Spurlock, et al. v. Townes, et al. (Camino Nuevo Correctional Center Sexual Assault)

In 2012, a federal jury awarded damages to three former inmates of the Camino Nuevo Correctional Center who were sexually assaulted in 2007 by a male guard employed by Corrections Corporation of America. The jury found CCA not liable for the plaintiffs’ civil rights violations but liable for negligent supervision of the guard as to two plaintiffs.
