Liano v. Computer Sciences Corporation (Gender and Age Discrimination)
Linda Liano claimed Computer Sciences Corporation discriminated against her on the basis of her age and gender, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Pennsylvania law. Liano claimed the company permitted a culture that allowed male supervisors to make gender-based remarks about female employees without punishment, and that her firing in 2012 was based on her age and gender. The case settled in February 2018.
