Halliburton Clyde Facility Health and Safety Violation
Halliburton Manufacturing and Services Limited was fined £10,000 (US$13,018) for a health and safety breach involving an incident at the Halliburton Clyde facility in Aberdeen, Scotland, in March 2014. A truck driver was injured during an unloading operation when a drilling motor fell from a forklift truck, striking him and pinning him against a flatbed trailer. Halliburton admitted in Scottish court that it failed to ensure the health and safety of delivery drivers at the facility. A Health and Safety Executive investigation found Halliburton lacked a safe system of work at the site in regard to delivery drivers.
