Intelligence Contract Labor Mischarging (Oct. 2011 – Oct. 2012)

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that a CACI employee was not present at his assigned worksite for the full period for which he billed the government. The ICIG determined that, from October 2011 to October 2012, the employee billed the government for approximately 313 hours during which he was not present at his worksite. The employee admitted he “may have been off” when accounting for breaks he took during the day. The ICIG also found that he billed an additional 357 hours for the time he used the office’s internet for personal purposes.
