Kirklin v. Valero Partners Louisiana (Racial Discrimination and Harassment)

Aariel Kirklin claims her former employer, Valero Partners Louisiana LLC, subjected her to racial discrimination and harassment, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Kirklin alleges that during her tenure at Valero beginning in 2005, she was harassed and discriminated against because of her race, pregnancy, and disability. She claims Valero subjected her to disparate treatment, failed to provide reasonable accommodations, and failed to take prompt, effective remedial action to stop the discrimination and harassment.
