Storing Sensitive Data on a Publicly Accessible Server
U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) sent a letter of inquiry to Booz Allen Hamilton in response to a May 2017 media report that Booz Allen, while working on a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) contract, stored sensitive files on a publicly accessible server. The NGA confirmed the media source’s account but stated that no classified information had been disclosed.
