Dobbs v. Bell Helicopter Textron (Wrongful Death)

A Kentucky jury awarded $21.7 million in damages to the families of three people who died in a June 2013 crash of a medical helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter Textron. The jury found that the helicopter had a main rotor blade defect, which made the helicopter unreasonably dangerous, and that the defective blade was a substantial factor in causing the crash.
