Hazardous Cutting Tool at Mobile, AL Facility
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) fined Austal USA $4,125 for a serious violation at Austal’s shipbuilding facility in Mobile, Alabama. OSHA found that a cutting tool at the facility called a “miller tool” exposed workers to death or serious physical harm.
