Scott v. United Launch Alliance (Labor Cost False Claims)
Former United Launch Alliance employee Joseph Scott claimed ULA defrauded the U.S. government of millions of dollars by overcharging for labor costs on contracts with NASA and the Department of Defense. Scott alleged ULA inflated labor hour estimates on bids. Scott also alleged ULA retaliated against him by forcing him out of the company after he revealed the alleged wrongdoing. ULA settled the lawsuit in December 2017 for $432,826.
