EEOC v. Halliburton Energy Services (National Origin and Religious Discrimination)
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit against Halliburton Energy Services for allegedly subjecting two Muslim employees to national origin and religious discrimination and for unlawfully retaliating against one of the employees. According to the complaint, the employees, who worked for Halliburton in Texas, were subjected to taunts and name-calling regarding their national origin and religion, and when one of the employees expressed his concerns to management he was fired.
