Violations of Overtime and Record-Keeping Provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act

The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Wage and Hour Division (WHD) found Humana violated the overtime and recordkeeping provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and owed 17 employees $128,422 in back wages. WHD determined that Humana failed to pay employees in the Grievance and Appeal Division for work they performed after their shifts were scheduled to end, and failed to accurately record the hours employees worked.
