Refusal to Cover Hepatitis C Drugs

Plaintiffs in a proposed class action claim that Centene subsidiary Celtic Insurance Company acted unlawfully in refusing to cover hepatitis C treatments. The lawsuit alleges Celtic Insurance refuses to pay for supposedly breakthrough hepatitis C treatments “unless an insured already has suffered severe, irreparable liver damage.”
