Carter v. FedEx (Disability Discrimination)

Harold Carter claimed that FedEx failed to reasonably accommodate him after he suffered a spinal injury at work that left him unable to perform heavy lifting or tasks that required frequent bending and turning of his neck. Carter also alleged retaliation and wrongful termination. A Los Angeles County jury found in favor of Carter and awarded him $5.3 million in damages.
