Failure to Pay Required Wages and Benefits to CDC Contract Employees

McKesson Specialty Distribution LLC paid $1,650,452 in back wages and fringe benefits to 515 employees after discovering and self-reporting to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) violations of the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act at its Aurora, Colorado and LaVergne and Memphis, Tennessee facilities. The company failed to pay the required prevailing wage rates, overtime rates, and fringe benefits to employees working on a contract with the Centers for Disease Control.
