Navistar MaxxForce Engines Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liabilities Litigation

A nationwide class action lawsuit claimed that certain 2011-2014 model year Navistar trucks had MaxxForce diesel engines equipped with a defective emissions system that caused damage to the engine and other problems, and that Navistar failed to disclose or correct the alleged defect. In May 2019, it was announced the parties reached a proposed settlement of the lawsuit for $135 million.
