Adhikari et al. v. KBR (Human Trafficking)
Several Nepali men claim they were trafficked across international borders to provide labor at U.S. military facilities in Iraq, in violation of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act and other laws. The plaintiffs allege they were lured from Nepal by an Iraqi company, working on behalf of KBR, with false promises of good jobs in Amman, Jordan, but after they arrived in Jordan their passports were taken from them and they were transported against their will to Iraq to work for KBR on the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) III contract.
